By exchanging publications with numerous academies, universities and other academic organisations in Germany and abroad, the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities receives approximately 3,000 publications every year from about 750 exchange partners in 63 countries. These publications are passed on to the Bavarian State Library, where they are made available to library users.
