Groups for the representation of interests

Collegium of Spokespersons: Scholars working full-time at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities are entitled to elect two spokespersons for each class who, in turn, are entitled to directly contact the academy's board with regard to any scholarly questions. The personnel board, which in Civil Service corresponds to a works council, acts as professional representation of all employees and is elected for a period of four years. Apart from these two groups for the representation of interests, there is a contact person for questions of equal opportunities as well as a liaison officer for severely disabled persons.
